ABOUT Buffy The Vampire Slayer:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a television series about Buffy Summers, a teenage girl chosen by fate to battle against vampires, demons and other dark forces. In each episode, Buffy must balance her life as a normal teenager with that of the “slayer”: an ancient warrior destined to fight evil forces.

Buffy’s friends are also key in her efforts to defeat vampires and other monsters: Xander Harris is Buffy’s best friend; Willow Rosenberg is another close friend who has magical powers; Anya Jenkins is a former vengeance demon; Cordelia Chase runs with popular kids at school who eventually become friends with Buffy and company; Rupert Giles was Buffy’s first Watcher when she became the Slayer but later became her surrogate father figure after his death; Andrew Wells is technically one of Sunnydale High’s nerds but his more attractive status often earns him unwanted attention from girls like Cordelia Chase or Dana Gregory (a vampire hunter).

The main cast features Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy Summers along with Nicholas Brendon (Xander Harris), Alyson Hannigan (Willow Rosenberg), Mike Tracer/James Marsters & Charisma Carpenter (Angel/Spike); Anthony Stewart Head (Rupert Giles) Kristine Sutherland (Joyce Summers); Emma Caulfield & Amber Benson as Anya Jenkins plus Seth Green as Oz

What is Season 1 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer about?

In Buffy Season 1, you’ll see the story of a small town girl who becomes a vampire slayer. As if that weren’t enough to deal with, Buffy has to juggle her high school studies and social life while also battling demons and other supernatural creatures of the night. Buffy’s Watcher, Rupert Giles (Anthony Head), guides her on this journey as well as giving her advice when she gets into trouble.

Buffy also has her mother Joyce (Kristine Sutherland) who is killed by a vampire in Season 1 but later turns out not to really be dead because it was just part of an elaborate spell put on both of them by Willow Rosenberg’s evil ex-girlfriend Amy Madison (Elizabeth Anne Allen). It turns out that they were actually trapped in another dimension where they lived happily ever after with their alternate lives until one day Joyce decided it was time for them all to come back home so she broke up with Giles which caused him great sadness because he loved both versions equally!

What is Season 2 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer about?

For fans in the United States, Season 2 was the first season to be released on DVD. This is also the only season to have a Christmas episode (“Amends”) and it was the first time that Buffy wore her classic outfit instead of her Season 1 clothes.

What is Season 3 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer about?

  • Buffy’s mother dies.
  • Willow and Oz are in a relationship, but then Willow decides she wants to be with Xander instead and breaks up with him in a very public way.
  • Buffy dates Riley Finn for a few episodes before it fizzles out. He gets called away by his government job, which is never explained or even mentioned again after this season.
  • Xander and Cordelia start going out until they break up in the finale when Cordelia goes off to college without saying goodbye (and then dating two guys from rival frats at UC Sunnydale).

What is Season 4 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer about?

Season 4 is where the show begins to truly find its footing. The season features some of my favorite episodes, including “Hush,” in which everyone falls silent and no one can speak for fear of being killed by something unseen (and unheard). There are so many other great episodes in this season: “Innocence,” which introduces us to Angel’s sire Darla; “Bad Eggs,” where Buffy and friends discover that their eggs are turning into monsters; and “Passion” (written by Joss Whedon), an episode that will make you hate yourself if you’re not careful.

In Season 4, Buffy meets Riley Finn (Marc Blucas) who becomes her love interest beginning here until they break up towards the end of Season 5. Also introduced at this time is Spike (James Marsters) who becomes a regular character starting here as well until he dies during Season 6’s finale “The Gift.” In addition to these two significant developments for both main characters there were also several notable developments for our supporting cast as well: Xander gets his driver’s license, Cordelia graduates summa cum laude from Sunnydale University and Willow falls in love with Tara Maclay.

What is Season 5 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer about?

Season 5 is the fifth season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and consists of twenty-one episodes. It introduces a new Big Bad and begins to heavily deal with the consequences of the events that occurred in Season 4.

What is Season 5 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer about?

Season 6 was a huge turning point for the series. Buffy’s mother dies, and she is resurrected by Giles (who becomes the new big bad). She then goes on to have a serious relationship with Spike, who was once one of her greatest enemies. This season also features both Xander and Anya getting married in what has to be one of TV’s most romantic ever proposals.

What is Season 7 of Buffy The Vampire Slayer about?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a cult classic that ended its seven-season run in 2003. The show is about Buffy Summers, a high school student who learns she’s destined to fight vampires and other supernatural creatures as part of a secret society called The Slayer. She also has to deal with her personal life, which includes friends like Willow Rosenberg and Xander Harris and romantic interests such as vampire Angel (who becomes human after realizing his feelings for Buffy).

In season 7 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, we see our favorite characters graduate from high school (or in the case of Cordelia Chase and Oz, not graduate) and move on with their lives. This can be hard for fans because so many beloved shows end once their main cast graduates or goes off to college—it’s rare for you to see any character from a popular show remain relevant past age 22!

But don’t worry: there are plenty more great TV shows out there that feature young adults trying to balance their personal lives with their professional ones!
